We promote Tomsk business on the Indian market
Tomsk businessmen presented their products in the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in India. B2B meetings in the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), visited one of India’s largest multidisciplinary medical networks - Max Healthcare were held on the first day of business mission of small and medium enterprises of Tomsk Oblast to India. The representative of CII, Mr. Vikas Jalan, noted that business cooperation between CII and the Tomsk CCI has a positive history and good prospects, as well as great potential for the development of mutual trade.
The interest of the Indian side to our region is confirmed by the exclusive meeting of the Deputy Governor of Tomsk Oblast Andrei Antonov and the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in India Yaroslav Tarasyuk with the Minister of Trade and Industry of India, Mr. Suresh Prabhu. During this meeting Russian businessmen presented the innovative and business potential of our region.
“Tomsk Oblast is sincerely interested in developing business relations with India. The Indian market is very promising for Russian goods and services, and Tomsk high-tech developments and solutions have good chances to cooperate with Indian businessmen not only for entry the local market, but also for development of the international markets” said Yaroslav Tarasyuk, the trade representative of the Russian Federation in India during the presentation of Tomsk Oblast in CII.
The business mission of Tomsk SMEs was organized by the Export Support Center of the Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the regional department for the development of innovation and business activities within the framework of the regional entrepreneurship development program, in cooperation with the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in India and Dr.Abhilash Pillai.
