Business mission of Tomsk small business to Kazakhstan has successfully completed

  A delegation of small and medium-sized businesses of Tomsk Oblast held a number of meetings in the Republic of Kazakhstan (Almaty) within the framework of business mission, organized by Tomsk CCI with the support of Tomsk Oblast Administration and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia on November 19-22, 2018.

  Nine enterprises participated in the business mission of Tomsk Oblast SMEs, including the representatives from “Systems Technologies Service” (“Tomsk bakeries”), “Sibereco” LLC (SIBERECO), “Esta” (“33 Penguins” and “Eskimos”), TD “Bogashevskaya food company”, ”Technologies of peace and security” (Internet portal Siberianproduct),”Asterol”, “Ecofood” and others.

  Tomsk citizens held product presentations and discussed perspectives for the development and cooperation in Almaty retail chains: “Svetofor”, CARE FOOD, MAGNUM, and “Cakes from Zhanna”, “U Afanasicha” confectionery chains within the framework of business-mission.

  Besides, Tomsk businessmen held more than 30 b2b negotiations with Almaty enterprises in the conference hall of “KazZhol” hotel complex, which lasted more than 3 hours.

  Special attention of the Kazakh side was paid to the products of “Ecofood”, “ESTA”, “Bogashevskaya food company” and “Systems Technologies Service”.

  Business trip resulted at the agreements on the supply of “Ecofood” company products under “Lesnoy Tsar” brand to “CareFood” retail chain, as well as an agreement between “Esta” company and its current partner on delivery expansion of Tomsk ice cream to Kazakhstan and further development of “33 penguins” brand in Kazakhstan.

  “Kazakhstan is one of the most attractive markets for the foreign economic activity of small and medium enterprises. Tomsk companies-participants arrived in Almaty with business proposals which arouse interest of Kazakh side. We hope that the negotiations, organized by Tomsk CCI, will soon lead to the conclusion of new export contracts of Tomsk companies,”- said Eduard Belyaev, advisor to the President of Tomsk CCI on Foreign Economic Activity.

  Business mission of Tomsk SMEs is organized by Tomsk CCI with the support of the Department for the Development of Innovation and Business of Tomsk Oblast, and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia within the framework of export support center activities.
