Export of Tomsk oblast has grown by 24.1% during the first half of 2018
In the first half of 2018, the foreign trade turnover of Tomsk Oblast has increased by 21.7% in comparison with the same period of last year and has amounted to $ 283.6 million.
The export for this period has reached $ 156.7 million, with 77.06% of non-resource non-energy export. Regional export has exceeded the import of foreign products by 23.5%, having ensured a positive balance of foreign trade operations of $ 29.85 million.
According to the information of specialists of Tomsk Oblast Export Support Center, acting on the basis of Tomsk CCI with the support of the Regional Business Development Fund, the Department for the Development of Innovative and Business Activities and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the main export products, demonstrating the growth of exports volume, include chipboards and MDF boards, lumber, cabling and wiring products, telecommunication and control and measurement instrumentation, static converters, tools for drilling and threading, petrochemical products.
China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Poland, Mongolia, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Vietnam are the most active importers of Tomsk products.
