Tomsk CCI helps business to develop partnership with P.R.C
From August 17 to 22, Tomsk SMEs took part in the 10th Exhibition and Forum of Cross-Border Cooperation in Erlian city at the invitation of CCPIT Chinese Committee, the Government of Inner Mongolia (P.R.C), the Mayor's Office of Erlian City (Eren-Hoto), within the framework of Enterprise Europe Network.
More than 150 companies from Russia, Mongolia, China, South Korea, Pakistan, Iran, Myanmar and other countries were the participants of the exhibition and forum.
The Russian exposition united the enterprises of the Republics of Buryatia, Tyva, Altai, Irkutsk and Tomsk Oblasts. Tomsk delegation presented meat products of the enterprises of the «Siberian Agrarian Group», confectionery products of «Sozvezdiye» PKP, ice cream “33 penguins”, products from the wild harvest TM “Diko Vkusno” and “SIBERECO”, etc.
The interest in Tomsk food products was confirmed not only by more than 2000 Chinese people who visited Tomsk exhibition stand, but also by officials with whom Tomsk delegation communicated at the stand and during official negotiations within the framework of the forum.
The participants of this forum visited SEZ in Erlian during the program of event, took part in discussions on the development of mutual trade with the participation of the leadership of National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia; M. Vasilyev, Trade Representative of Russia in Mongolia; Liu Pengki, the Vice President of CCPIT; Liu Tingshan, the President of CCPIT in Inner Mongolia; Tsogsuren Ganbold, Adviser of Mongolia's Deputy Prime Minister; Inner Mongolia Province; leadership of Ehren-Hoth and Hohhot.
These meetings resulted at the agreements on cooperation with Chinese enterprises, as well as the invitation of the Chinese side to become participants of the process of cross-border trade in the Erlian SEZ.
The participation in the exhibition and forum in Erlian is organized by Tomsk CCI with the support of the regional Department for the Development of Business and Innovation Activities, CCPIT, the City Hall of Eren-Hoth, National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia within the framework of the Regional Integrated Center of Enterprise Europe Network.
