Tomsk business expands business contacts with Armenia
Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the assistance of regional Administration and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and within the framework of the Export Support Center organized business mission of small and medium-sized enterprises of Tomsk Oblast to Armenia.
The participants of business mission were representatives of 9 Tomsk companies, including the following trademarks: "Desant zdorovia", "33 penguins", "Kinetichesky plastilin Zephyr", "Trogatelny pesok Lepa", "Eskimos Company", "Kulechek Shchastya", as well as "EleSy", "Planar technologies" (GC "Mikran"),"Universal terminal systems" and others.
Within the framework of business mission Tomsk businessmen took part in the business forum of EEU countries (Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan), where b2b meetings and negotiations, the presentation at the Trade Delegation of Russia in Armenia were held, visited Yerevan enterprises in accordance with participants’ profiles of Tomsk delegation.
Armenian and EEU countries businessmen were very interested in the products of “Interopt” LLC (33 penguins), “Ferment” LLC (bio ice-cream “Desant zdorovia”), as well as in the goods of companies for children's crafts, like “New Chemistry” and “Universal Terminal Systems”. Big business and authorities were interested in the products and developments of "Planar technologies" LLC and “EleSy” LLC.
During the business mission, Tomsk franchise "33 Penguins" and Armenian partners concluded an agreement on the entry of the largest Russian network of ice cream and desserts cafes into the Armenian market. Armenia became the fifth country of presence of Tomsk brand in the EEU, before that InterOpt LLC (TM "33 penguins") had successfully developed partnership relations with businessmen from Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and also in the regions of Russia. Besides, agreements on cooperation have been reached.
Andrei Babko, Russia's trade representative in Armenia, said during a meeting with Tomsk business: "Tomsk businessmen have once again demonstrated interesting products and solutions. All companies have good opportunities and prospects not only in the Armenian market, but also in neighboring countries like Georgia and Iran. The Trade Representation will help in all directions. In spite of the past events, Armenia has been focused on the development of contacts with Russian regions and will follow it".
Business mission of Tomsk SMEs is organized by Tomsk CCI with the support of Tomsk Oblast Administration and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia within the framework of Export support center.
