Seminar on transfer of technology and protection of intellectual property was held in Tomsk CCI

  On March 28, 2018 Tomsk CCI, the Regional Integrated Center - Tomsk Region of Tomsk CCI, with the support of the regional Department for the Development of Innovative and Entrepreneurial Activities, held a seminar on "Transfer of Technology and Protection of Intellectual Property" for small and medium-sized enterprises.

  Leader of seminar - Alexey Filimonov (Moscow) - Executive Director, Member of the Association of Innovation and Technology Brokers, Head of the Department for Interaction with Industrial Partners of the FGBU "Directorate of Scientific and Technical Programs", formerly Head of the Program for the Development and Commercialization of Projects of the Federal target program "Research and development in priority areas of development of the scientific and technological complex of Russia for 2014-2020 years", an anti-crisis director of Severstal Group Capital Management, manager of GTI startup accelerator, manager of Skolkovo startup development, top manager at the companies Digital Design, DocsVision, "Orimi Trade".

  Representatives of 15 small and medium-sized enterprises of Tomsk region took part in this seminar.

  The seminar participants considered modern aspects of technological transfer, new approaches to R & D in global corporate practice, the competitive advantages of a technology company, the features and differences of an international technology transfer, the purpose of an international transfer in terms of the source and consumer of technologies, the modern role of small companies as a source of the most advanced technological developments and a key resource for the successful implementation of the project.

  In addition, the issues of protection of intellectual property in the implementation of international projects and mechanisms for international patenting were discussed in detail.

  Then representatives of the Tomsk small business learned about successful stories of international cooperation of Russian technology companies with foreign organizations. Within the framework of the program of the seminar, videoconferences with international experts were held.

  Ms. Jingyi Zhang (China), the director for the development of the Chinese branch of the international technology transfer network, International Technology Transfer Network, spoke about the possibilities of international technology transfer to China. Igor Rozhdestvensky (Russia), General Director of Martal SPb (Russia), presented Israel as an country for starting of international projects. Mikko Kaarela (Finland) - Senior Consultant, Deputy Director, Spinverse, Senior Advisor, Stereoscape Ltd., President, Business Development Consultant, Axlis Ltd., shared the experience of obtaining financing for technology companies in Finland. In the past, he was a business development consultant for start-up companies (Technopolis Ventures), deputy general manager, (Giwano Computers, Finland), senior business development manager, Europe, Middle East, Asia (MasterCard / Mondex International, London) in the USSR (Nokia, Dava, Valmet Corporation). Mika Lammi (Finland), CEO, SmartLog cited an example of an international technology project in the field of Internet of Things / blockchain.

  The participants of the seminar actively participated in the work, asked specific questions, and according to the results of the event they noted the highest qualification of the speakers, the relevance of the topics raised and the attention to each listener of the facilitator A.Filimonov, who did not ignore any of the questions asked.

  The seminar was organized within the framework of the regional program for the development of entrepreneurship.
